Frequently asked questions

A little more clarity before you take the next step.

If your question is not answered here, you are welcome to ask during a free consultation.

What happens during the free consultation?+

We will briefly discuss what has brought you to therapy, what you hope may change and whether my approach feels right for you. There is no pressure to book afterwards.

How are sessions delivered?+

Sessions take place online by secure video call, allowing you to attend from a private and comfortable space anywhere in the UK.

Who do you work with?+

I work with children, young people and adults. For younger clients, we will agree how parents or carers can be involved in a helpful and appropriate way.

How many sessions will I need?+

This varies depending on your goals and circumstances. We will review progress together and make decisions collaboratively rather than committing you to a fixed package.

When is payment taken?+

Payment is taken in advance of each booked session. Full fee and payment information will be explained clearly before you decide to book.

Is online CBT confidential?+

Your privacy is taken seriously. Confidentiality and its important safety-related limits will be explained fully before therapy begins.
