Book a consultationHow I can help
Neurodivergence is not something that needs to be fixed. Therapy can instead offer support with anxiety, low mood, self-understanding, overwhelm or difficult experiences in a way that respects how your mind works.
What this can look like
You do not need to identify with every example or have a formal diagnosis to begin a conversation.
How CBT may help
Use clear language, visual structure, written summaries, breaks and a pace that suits your processing style.
Explore needs, triggers and strengths without assuming that every difficulty is caused by neurodivergence.
Develop practical approaches that account for sensory needs, attention, energy and executive functioning.
Build a more compassionate understanding of difference and challenge unhelpful messages absorbed over time.
What sessions might involve
We can agree communication preferences, make the structure predictable and adapt standard CBT tools rather than expecting you to fit the therapy. Goals might focus on anxiety, mood, confidence, coping with demands or understanding your own needs.
CBT does not treat or cure autism or ADHD. The aim is to support the difficulties you want help with while respecting your identity, autonomy and strengths.
